Created by Franco Dragone, the mastermind behind Le Rêve in Las Vegas and The House of Dancing Water in Macau, La Perle is a breath-taking show guaranteed to take every spectator on an extraordinary multi-sensory journey. The magnificent display delivers a fusion of outstanding choreography, adrenaline-inducing stunts, a gripping storyline, and technology – all in a built-for-purpose aqua theatre. The one-of-a-kind stage is filled with 2.7 million litres of water, which drains in seconds.
Brought to Dubai in 2016, La Perle is influenced by the rich culture and heritage of the city. The fairy tale unravelling before, below and above the audience, captures Dubai’s rich culture, paying homage to its pearl diving history, vibrant present and aspirational future. It is addressed to those looking to reawaken their inner child and once again, be amazed by the world and magic around us.
Get ready for a visual extravaganza
One thing’s for sure – nothing about La Perle is modest or low key. With nail-biting stunts, such as head dives from 25 metres high or backflips on a motorcycle, out-of-this-world choreography ready to bring you to tears, and truly mesmerising music and light shows, this extravaganza will leave you collecting your jaw from the ground. Be warned, however, chances are you’ll be pondering if anything will ever be able to top this.
The theatre features a 270-degree 14-row seating area, to ensure each and every member of the audience can become fully immersed in the action. Once you’ve settled in, characters such as the greedy and childish King, the courageous Pearl Girl, the unbelievably strong Antar, and the sneaky Prince take the stage. Be ready for mind-boggling plot twists and heart-dropping stunts, as you’re whisked on a journey like no other.
Elevate your experience
If you want to make this evening even more spectacular, opt for a Dinner and Show package and enjoy a pre- or post-show dinner at one of the amazing dining venues in Al Habtoor City. Depending on their preference, guests can choose between an incredible Japanese dining experience at Gonpachi, a modern European menu at Babiole, an Italian-inspired dinner at Il Pastaio or an international offering at Le Patio. Rest assured, you’ll have plenty to recap during your post-show dinner.
Take the evening one step further and add an awe-inspiring dhow cruise on the beautiful Dubai Canal to your package. You’ll enjoy a 90-minute dhow cruise including a lavish international buffet before the start of the spectacle at La Perle. The cruise will provide stunning views of Burj Khalifa and give you the chance to admire the world’s largest water screen projection, the IMAGINE show.
Tickets and timings
La Perle shows run at 6:30pm and 9:00pm from Tuesday to Saturday. Visitors can choose between five ticket types: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP. Platinum and VIP tickets include complimentary valet parking, and pre-show access to the Lounge, where canapés and soft beverages are served to Platinum ticket holders and VIP ticket holders will also receive a welcome drink and a AED 50 voucher to be redeemed at the merchandise area. Platinum and VIP ticket holders get to enjoy the show from the ultimate luxury in the heart of the theatre.
