Put on a picnic
If you ask us, the best way to celebrate the end of Ramadan is to fill a basket with all your favourite snacks and delicacies, grab your loved ones, and pick any of the hundreds of beautiful parks around the city to set up a gorgeous sun-filled picnic. If you’re looking to enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner, there are even several parks designated just for that. To add romance to the event, move your dining venue to the beach and indulge in both delectable treats as well as spectacular sea views.
Stop and smell the roses
Get the kids, or bring your buddies, and make your way to the magnificent Dubai Miracle Garden before the end of the season on 31st of May. The world’s biggest natural flower garden boasting over 45 million flowers is a guaranteed hit for any visitor. Snap photos with the record-breaking, life-size Emirates A380 made entirely of, yep – you guessed it – flowers, or admire your favourite Disney characters in full bloom. This spectacular garden is a true sensory delight to all your senses and an absolute must-visit!

Admire fantastic fireworks
The long-awaited Eid al-Fitr break is in for a sparkling start as multiple locations across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are set to light the skies in spectacular fireworks. To make sure you get the best views, our experts found out the top places to enjoy fireworks this year in Dubai.
Make it a two-in-one and explore the buzzing Global Village after your visit to the Dubai Miracle Garden. On top of sending you on a trip around the world, the park will put on amazing shows and daily fireworks starting from 30 April. If you’re looking to spark up your dinner experience, head to The Pointe at the tip of Palm Jumeirah to witness spectacular fireworks with Atlantis, The Palm serving as backdrop.
One of our personal favourites has to be the gorgeous Bluewater Island. Just imagine witnessing colourful fireworks lighting up the sky with the awe-inspiring Ain Dubai in the background. We’re getting goosebumps just thinking about it! The magical show will take place at 9pm on the second day of Eid al-Fitr. Should you happen to be on the other side of the Creek at the same time, head to Dubai Festival City Mall to catch their annual show.
Splash away at Wild Wadi Waterpark
Arguably one of the best ways to enjoy the warm spring days in Dubai is to spend some fun-filled time at one of the many waterparks. Grab your goggles and sunscreen and make your way to the Wild Wadi Waterpark, located right next to the world-renowned Burj Al Arab. Get your heart racing as you speed down the Jumeirah Sceirah water slide or try to find your balance on a surfboard. Fact is, any visit to Wild Wadi is guaranteed to leave the entire family smiling from ear to ear.
